MAY, 2023
I was so pleased to work with Peyton Pugmire (director) and the Salem Athenaeum on this backdrop for a reading of, The Secret Garden. This is a freestanding backdrop, originally intended for outdoors but moved inside due to heat. Backdrop, flowers & branches are made of recycled curtains and formal wear.
"kelp beds"

salem, ma
June 2017
We use a lot of recycled marine-grade shrink wrap. It is free, it stands up to weather and works great with lighting. Here, it was used to build columns that marked the runway entrance for the SAF Fashion Show.
DENIM FLOWERS

AUGUST 2022
Our local mall was supporting "Cradles to Crayons," a great organization whose mission is to get all kids ready for school with new denim. This piece was used to draw attention to their display and collection box and took @10 pairs of recycled blue jeans.
"PINK ROSES, WILD HEARTS"

old Town hall, salem ma
valentine's day, 2022
We created two backdrops for Valentine's Day. One celebrated classic romance, in all its pink, flowered glory. The other backdrop was for those whose hearts run solo, wild, & free. All the flowers and panels were made of recycled formal wear and curtains.
A selection of Grace & Diggs headpieces was also included so visitors could become further immersed in the setting. |
